In 2017 we raised €110,737 for youth mental health in Ireland, 100% of which was donated to our charity partners.
Where does the money go? 100% of all funds raised by the One For Ireland campaign are donated to our charity partners specifically for the programmes outlined. Any costs to the campaign are kept an absolute minimum and are paid for through the support of the Irish Youth Foundation. One for Ireland signs a grant contract with each charity partner to ensure the specific purpose of the grant is adhered to.
Is anybody paid? The IYF team manage the One for Ireland campaign, with the support of the team of volunteers. Therefore, all funds raised through public donations will go directly to our charity partners
Who oversees governance? One for Ireland is run under the governance structures of the Irish Youth Foundation (CHY Number 5957). IYF applies the highest standards of governance in their work, and has committed to adopting the Governance Code for Community, Voluntary and Charitable Organisations. As a fundraising charity IYF are compliant with the requirements of the Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising and are registered with, and submit their annual accounts to the Charity Regulator. In addition, IYF publish their annual accounts on their website and work very hard to ensure that all funds raised are applied most effectively and efficiently to fulfil their mission.
